Animating the walk

To contrast with his small stature and child-like build I wanted to make him with walk a confident and cocky strut. So I made his arms swing, and his head bob on every few steps.

From these photographs I have now a good idea of how to create my character in 3D.

Chosen character- Boba Fett (Star Wars character)

I chose Boba Fett, a character from Star Wars. I think his armour design lends well to creating a cartoon version of him.  His jet pack could also be a utilized in animation.

Theme board and research

For this character brief, I have decided to take an existing character from fiction and create a simplified 'cartooney' version of them.
From my research I gathered that these types of characters are short in stature (like a child version of the character), have a large head, their colours are exaggerated and the details of the character are simplified.
I just have to choose a character.
