Theme board and research

For this character brief, I have decided to take an existing character from fiction and create a simplified 'cartooney' version of them.
From my research I gathered that these types of characters are short in stature (like a child version of the character), have a large head, their colours are exaggerated and the details of the character are simplified.
I just have to choose a character.
